How to create a Python app in cPanel

Note: This feature is only available on Essentials & Plus hosting plans. If you are on Starter or Basics, you will need to upgrade.

In cPanel, select Setup Python App. On the next page, fill in the following details:

1. Select a Python version. Please keep in mind Python 2.x is deprecated.
2. Set your application root. This is relative to your home directory and will be created if it does not already exist.
3. Enter the address the application should be available on.
4. Name the file that will run the application. This will link to the application entry point.
5. Enter the application entry point.
6. Enter the location of the passenger log file.
7. Click the create button. 
8. If needed, add the server environment variable.
